Touchdown Alabama has learned the Alabama Crimson Tide’s freshman defensive back Jorden Edmonds will miss time with an injury.
Bama 247 was the first to report the news.
Edmonds is a former elite cornerback prospect, and he is sidelined with a lower-body injury.
Touchdown Alabama was told the cornerback was injured in practice during the week and did not participate in Thursday’s scrimmage. This opened door for Zyan Gibson, a fellow freshman cornerback, to get more playing time at cornerback with the Tide’s second team in the scrimmage.
