Alabama football adds 6-foot-4 JUCO linebacker to roster ahead of fall camp

Alabama football announced Bubba Odom in its latest roster update ahead of the 2026 football season.
Odom has previously played at Northern Arizona and East Mississippi Community College. He played his high school football at Jasper High School in Alabama. His last stop was at East Mississippi during the 2025 season.
The Alabama native finished last season with 16 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
Alabama lists Odom at 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds. With linebacker attached to his name, he will likely line up as an edge defender for the Crimson Tide at the wolf linebacker position, mainly as a depth piece due to Alabama already having Yhonzae Pieree, Justin Hill and Dezmond Umeozulu expected to play a lot of snaps there.
East Mississippi primarily used Odom as an edge defender last season, and he stood out as more of a run defender.
