5 Kentucky players to know ahead of matchup against Alabama

Alabama football is set to take on the Kentucky Wildcats to open up SEC play on Saturday in Lexington.
Touchdown Alabama takes a look at 5 Wildcat players to know ahead of the matchup:
Kenny Minchey
Minchey got his Kentucky career start with a win against Youngstown State last week. The Notre Dame transfer completed 18 of his 27 pass attempts in the win for 301 yards and four touchdowns. Will Stein likes to make it easy for his quarterback to get the football to his offensive weapons, and this was on display throughout the Wildcats’ win over Youngstown State. It is no surprise his first three touchdown passes were thrown behind the line of scrimmage and the player on the receiving end had to work after the catch to get into the end zone. Alabama’s defensive coordinator Kane Wommack discussed the Tide expecting to see Kentucky using a lot of eye candy to get the football to its playmakers earlier this week.
