GAME 3: Saturday, September 19, 2026
Alabama Crimson Tide (2-0) vs Florida State Seminoles (1-1)
Tuscaloosa, AL ~ 2:30/3:30 ABC
- Editorial: FSU is a dumpster fire. But they were a dumpster fire last season too and we all know how that match-up went down. The ‘Noles are a step down from Kentucky but definitely better than ECU. If the Tide takes them lightly… AGAIN (too soon?)… anything can happen. Every game is an opportunity to get better.
- FSU Coach: Mike Norvell… for now (39-35 in his 7th season as FSU head coach; 22-27 ACC)
- Injuries: Alabama starting guard Michael Carroll is back. DB Zyan Gibson is expected to return. WR Noah Rogers and running back AK Dear are questionable, which is a step in the right direction. The Seminoles lost starting senior linebacker Blake Nichelson, senior safety K.J. Kirkland, and sophomore defensive end Darryll Desir. Two reserve wide receivers are out as well.
- Familiar Face: Former Auburn QB Ashton Daniels is the starter for the ’Noles.
- Honoring: The undefeated 1966 SEC championship team who was denied the National Championship from agenda-driven journalists.
- Weather: Thunderstorms and then heat. A high nearing 98°.
- TV Announcers Encore: Sean McDonough and Greg McElroy with Katie George on the sidelines.
- Radio: Chris Stewart, Tyler Watts, and Cory Reamer on Alabama Radio.
- Vegas: The FanDuel point spread has Alabama as a 19.5 point favorite. Over/Under is 48.5.
